These are the nodes that are responsible for drawing particles. You have the choice between various predefined renderers, from standard billboards, to meshes, lights, etc..

All these are implemented by the integration in the game engine, not by the PopcornFX runtime, so their availability might change depending on the engine you'll be using. You can check their implementation status in our public integrations here:

billboard renderer CParticleRenderer_Billboard Billboard/sprite renderer. handles texture atlases, various billboarding & alignment modes
light renderer CParticleRenderer_Light Transforms the particle into a dynamic light that lights the scene
mesh renderer CParticleRenderer_Mesh Renders meshes
ribbon renderer CParticleRenderer_Ribbon Ribbon-trail renderer
audio renderer CParticleRenderer_Sound v1.7.0 "Renders" the particles as sound sources.

To add a new particle renderer, right-click in the 'Renderers' node in any particle layer, go in the 'New Renderer' sub-menu, and choose the renderer you want in the list:
